The Bill (Reg. №4011) envisages the Amendments to the Civil Code of Ukraine and the Law "On Banks and Banking Activity", that should determine that the contracts with the natural persons are compiled only in National Currency.
Moreover the Bill allots the right for the natural persons who have compiled the credit contract in national currency to convert the credit in National Currency of Ukraine according to the official rate.
The Members of the committee stressed that the amendments contradict with the article 51 of the Law "On Banks and Banking Activity" and article 6 and article 627 of the civil Code.
The experts deem that "the prohibition for the loans on foreign currency is and action that is not peculiar for the market economics", moreover the bill does not envisages the mechanism of re-calculation o the loss and Compensation for the Banks because of the suggested amendments.
